I-495 Nightly Lane Closings for Bridge Replacement Between Haverhill and Methuen

Traffic on Interstate 495 between Haverhill and Methuen will face lane closings over the next two weeks, WHAV reported.

Temporary nightly lane closings are planned to begin Monday, Sept. 28. The closures will occur as needed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will be located between Exit 105 and Route 213 in Methuen.

The work is part of the I-495 Bridge Replacement Project, which calls for two replacement bridges over the Merrimack River. Steel is going up on the first of those two replacement bridges, and the bridge work is prompting the scheduled nightly lane closings.
